Oakwood Chamber Players

The Oakwood Chamber Players kick off their 2025/26 season at Arts + Literature Laboratory on Sunday, September 7, at 2:00pm. Welcoming new member Stacy Regehr, piano, into their signature ensemble of winds and strings, they will present a program that blends classical chamber music with music cultures of the world. Tickets are $25 general admission, $20 seniors, and $5 for students. Advance ticket sales are available at oakwoodchamberplayers.com.

Three composers whose lives spanned the turn of the 19th century, Darius Milhaud, (1892-1974), Dora Pejačević (1885-1923), and Ernő Dohnányi (1877-1960) are linked to the 21st century via GRAMMY-nominated composer Carlos Simon. All four are celebrated for their groundbreaking use of Western classical music as a platform for multicultural representation.
