Arts + Literature Laboratory provides several artist studios for rent on a rolling basis. Studios are partially-subsidized with the intention of establishing permanently affordable space for artists to make new work in downtown Madison. As highly-visible members of ALL’s community, studio artists benefit from significant cross-pollination with ALL’s 200+ annual events and the more than 400 artists we work with each year across the contemporary arts. Accepted artists are also invited to join the Visual Arts Curatorial Team and participate in exhibitions jurying and other visual arts programmatic decisions.
